Anne-Marie Nicol (MES PhD) is an Associate Professor of Professional Practice in the Faculty of Health Sciences at SFU. Her research focuses on knowledge translation strategies that move evidence into health policy and practice, particularly in the areas of environmental health. Trained in Communications as well as Health Care and Epidemiology, Anne-Marie works with Canadian public health agencies and non-profit organizations, supporting efforts to augment and tailor effective health risk messaging. She is also serves as the Scientific Advisor for the Healthy Indoor Environments Program at the BC Lung Association and is core member of Health Canada’s Take Action of Radon program team.
